Ask a cyclist what's worse, going up a hill or cycling into a head wind? The answer is always cycling into the wind. For about 50 miles we cycled into a horrible headwind. It also rained alot. And to top it all off at some points we were cycling up a hill, into a headwind and suffering torrential rain. But we did it, we are in Moffat, and this is our last night in Scotland.
Highlight of today - some fantastic cycle routes, out of traffic and we'll maintained. Routes 78, 74 and 73.
Low light - 3 punctures including a 2 1/2 inch nail through my new tyre!
A long cycle ride from the very top of Scotland, to the furthest flung corner of Cornwall (eating as much cake as we can along the way)
